Registration Requirement
Since sole proprietor is not an entity, therefore no registration or approval is required to carry on any business under it, the business can be started at any point of time and is not required to comply with any legal formality.
Compliances
Since proprietorship is not governed by any statue, therefore is no requirement of any compliance, though the business needs to undertake the necessary compliances under the tax laws and other specific laws, which are applicable due to the nature of the business.
